This is Reza's story​.
A beautiful and strong girl.
She became ill at the age of eleven and was diagnosed with systemic juvenile arthritis (SJIA). When she was sixteen, she also developed the life-threatening complication MAS, and Crohn's disease. Bravely and determined, she went through tests, treatments, and surgeries. Unfortunately, she couldn’t fulfill her big dream of becoming a pediatrician to help other children. That’s why we are carrying on her mission.

Natasja Schouten, Reza's mum, is the initiator of ResystbyReza which was
founded on Dec 13,2024.

"My biggest dream is to get cured, my second dream is studying medicine and become a pediatrician."
Purpose
We believe in a future where children & young adults suffering from (Systemic-) JIA, MAS/ HLH have the chance to a better quality of life without while remaining socially connected with their peers.
Our Vision
ReSyst by Reza fights to cure Systemic JIA, MAS/ HLH and to offer support to patients and their
families during the unpredictable difficult journey and beyond, carrying on Reza’s legacy spreading
her love, kindness and courage.
Our Mission
We accelerate (existing) international research & collaboration, which leads to better treatments,
access to approved therapies and clinical trials. We insist on physical and social care for chronic
(refractory) patients, their families and raise our voice to create awareness for this rare unknown
condition.”
